Solang Valley is a picturesque mountain valley known for its himalayan view and adventure sport activities. Located about 13 km from Manali in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Valley is surrounded by the snow covered mountains, dense forests and greenery. 

The name Solang is derived from two villages of Himachal one is “Solang” and another is “Anjani”, combine of both the name to form “Solang”. The Valley is situated at an high altitude of 2560 m (8400 ft) above the sea level. Because of high altitude the weather remain cool and pleasant during summer and in winter heavy snowfall occur that transform the valley into a white blanket. 

Solang Valley offers a different climate and view in different season. In summer (April to June), the valley offers a pleasant weather with a greenery, beautiful nature and clear blue sky. Good for trekking, camping, sightseeing and boating. In winter (December to February) cover the valley with a thick layers of snow. Ideal good for skiing, snowboarding and other snow activities.
