Ooty, officially known as the “Udhagamandalam” one of the most popular hill station and also known as the “Queen of Hill Station”, Nestled in the Nilgiri Hills at an high altitude of 2240 m above the sea level in Tamil Nadu state of India.

Ooty Lake
Ooty Lake is one of the most popular artificial lake, surrounded by lush greenery, eucalyptus trees and rolling hills. The lake is elongated in shape and fed by mountain streams flowing down from the surrounding hills. Its calm water reflects the scenic beauty of Nilgiris making it an ideal location for photography and relaxation.
One of the main attraction of Ooty Lake is boating, which is manage and operate by Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. It offers various types of boats like paddle boats, rowboats and motorboats.
Rose Garden Ooty
The Rose Garden is home to an impressive collection of more than 20,000 varieties of roses, making it one of the largest hill rose gardens in India. These include different type of roses like hybrid tea roses, floribundas, miniature roses, ramblers, climbers, Many rare roses like green, blue-tinted and nearly black. This rich diversity makes the garden an important centre for horticulture and a delights for botanists, researches and fl0wers enthusiasts.
Rose Garden was established in 1995 by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Garden was create to promote tourism and showcase a wide variety of roses. It is spread over an area of 10 acres on the slopes of Elk Hill and its terraced layout allows visitors to walk through different levels and enjoying the scenic view of surrounding mountains.
Doddabetta Peak
Doddabetta Peak is one of the highest mountain peak in Nilgiri hills, standing at an elevation of about 2637 m above the sea level. From Doddabetta peak visitor can enjoy breath-taking view of Nilgiri valleys, forests and nearby towns.

Nilgiri Mountain Railway
Nilgiri Mountain Railway is one of the most famous and scenic railway line that connect Mettupalayam to Ooty through beautiful Nilgiri Hills. It is about 46 km long and unique rack and pinion system, which is used between the Mettupalayam and Coonoor to help trains to climb on steep gradients of the Hills.

Tea Museum Ooty
The Tea Museum Ooty is also known as the Tea Factory, it offers an engaging insights into the history, cultivation and processing of tea in Nilgiri hills. The Museum allow visitors tpo observe the complete journey of “Tea” from freshly plucked green leaves to the final packaged product. In Museum there is a view gallery, where the tourist can watch different stages such as withering, rolling, oxidation, drying and sorting of tea leaves.

Avalanche Lake
Avalanche Lake is a beautiful lake surrounded by dense forests filled with a variety of flora and fauna.
